What is TeachAIFlow Trace?+

A browser extension that records a student's conversations with AI assistants and lets them cite those conversations with a sealed code. Teachers open the code at teachaiflow.com/ref.

Is this an AI detector?+

No. It never estimates whether a text was written by AI. It shows what was actually asked and answered, because the student chose to reference it.

Which assistants does it work with?+

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, NotebookLM and the TeachAIFlow chat. Chrome lists the exact sites before you install.

What leaves my computer?+

Only the conversation or fragments you reference, with your name, email and the date. Everything else stays in your browser for 48 hours and is deleted when you sign out.

Does the teacher need an account?+

Yes, a free TeachAIFlow account. References and reports contain students' data, so they are only shown to signed-in users.

Who can use it?+

Students and teachers at institutions that have Trace, with the accounts the institution issues. Students must be 14 or older.
